Milan is a kids-friendly city: there are many activities available for parents and children.

In most of civic museums entrance for kids and teenagers under 18 is for free. Here a good selection for your stay with kids in Milan. You will find specific museums, kids friendly activities and many things to spend a great time with your family. 

Civic Aquarium (Viale Gadio, 2)

Although Milan has not the seaside, it has a small and cozy aquarium. Located inside Parco Sempione, the big public park on the back of Sforza Castle, is for sure a nice activity to do.

 

 

 

MUBA (Via Enrico Besana, 12)

MUBA, literally “Museo dei Bambini” (children museum) hosted in the stunning location of Rotonda della Besana, is a fantastic opportunity to play and explore the world through five senses. A charming cafeteria is available for parents.

Planetario Ulrico Hoepli (Corso Venezia, 57)

Also the Civic Planetarium is located inside a park: Indro Montanelli gardens, in Porta Venezia area. The perfect way to introduce to your kids what there is outside the globe.

Wow-Spazio Fumetto (Viale Campania, 12)

A small comic-strip museum opened in 2011, it offers temporary exhibitions dedicated to cartoons and heroes. Interesting for kids (and parents too!).

Museo del giocattolo e del bambino (Via Gianni Rodari 3, Cormano)

Located in Cormano, few kilometers from the city center of Milan the “Children and toys museum” follow the path and history of italian and international toys from XIX century. Game room, library, exhibition rooms and a cheap cafeteria complete this interesting museum.
